Kennedy Mason

After completing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences in my home province of Ontario, Canada, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. After spending some time working in independent practice I joined the team at The Oaks at the start of 2025, and have loved meeting all of your pets! I have two cats of my own at home, a lovely moggy girl and her trouble-making sphynx brother.

I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but have a particular interest in diagnostic imaging. Working with the state-of-the-art equipment and knowledgeable team here has already taught me so much, and I'm very excited for all the experiences still to come. 

Outside of work I am an avid volleyball player and spend my winters competing in the Scottish Premier League with a Glasgow-based team. In the warmer months you can catch me competing on the beaches of Troon and Portobello on the UK beach volleyball tour. Most recently, after years of hard work, I got the incredible opportunity to commentate volleyball at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
