Cats Protection 

Cats Protection is a UK registered charity, working to care for, rescue and rehome cats. Here at The Oaks, we undertake work for the North Ayrshire branch, who have many cats looking for loving, ‘forever’ homes.

PDSA

PDSA is a UK registered charity that provides free veterinary services for 'Pets in Need of Vets'. It is run by a team of vets and nurses and is funded entirely by public support.

Dogs Trust

Dogs Trust is known as the UK’s largest dog welfare charity. They work to rehome dogs as well as provide outreach programs, education, campaigns and legislation information for every dog to lead a happy and healthy life. Their Scottish rehoming centres are in Uddingston and West Calder.

Scottish SPCA

Scotland’s animal welfare charity that aims to prevent cruelty to animals and promote the five freedoms required by every animal. Rehoming and rescue centres of the SSPCA are located throughout Scotland. The Ayrshire and Southwest Scotland centre is in Ayr.

Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue

Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue is situated near Beith in North Ayrshire. They aim to rescue, treat, rehabilitate and release all species of Scottish wildlife. They are available to give advice on all sorts of wildlife problems.
