"I started at The Oaks in 2014 whilse I was still in school, initially doing voluntary work experience a couple of nights per week. In 2016, I started a degree in Veterinary Nursing at Napier University in Edinburgh.
During my course, I spent part of my time on placement, learning at The Oaks, and the rest studying. I love the hands-on nature of veterinary nursing and caring for all the different animals which are hospitalised for procedures. When not on placement, I love going out with my friends and having trips to the cinema to watch the latest blockbuster. I also like the idea of going to the gym but enjoy making up reasons not to go even more."
Furry Family At home, I have a 4-year-old Border Collie called Zak who is great company but slightly high maintenance and a cat called Bliss who is technically my sister’s but somehow I end up paying the vet bills.
