I was born and raised in Ayrshire and studied at Glasgow University Veterinary School. After graduation I travelled south of the border and worked in small family-run practice just outside Hull and then travelled back to Scotland to work in South Lanarkshire. Missing Ayrshire though, I decided to return, and joined The Oaks in May 2018. I have worked in small animal practice since graduation and have always enjoyed the different challenges this job comes with - you literally never know what each day is going to bring. I am passionate about providing the best care to my patients - and their humans - and strive to achieve this every day. I have a particular interest in internal medicine and am currently studying towards a Certificate in Small Animal Medicine, so that I can continue to deliver the best and most up to date treatments available.
I have one dog at home, my rather tennis ball obsessed Border Terrier Travis.
