Aimee De Wet

Originally from Yorkshire, I started my veterinary career as a receptionist in a mixed animal practice in 2014. Quite quickly I realised that a veterinary career was one that I wanted to pursue so I began my training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse shortly after. 

I qualified from Askham Bryan in 2017 and stayed within mixed practice for a number of years, until I moved to Ayrshire at the end of 2020 into a Head Nurse Role.

I started at Oaks in January 2022 as the Practice Manager and am thoroughly enjoying my new role and the challenges that come with it. 

In my spare time I love being outdoors, walking and gardening. 

At home I have 2 gorgeous tabby girls that I rescued when they were only weeks old. They also enjoy being out in the garden with me on a sunny day.
